1 cup dried dates (pitted)
1 cup hot water
4 Tbsp coconut oil (melted)
1/4 tsp sea salt
Pinch of vanilla powder
- Soak the dates in the hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Add your dates, half of the soaking water, coconut oil, salt and vanilla into a blender / food processor. Blend together, and add more water if needed, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour into jar, and store in the fridge. Use your date caramel to drizzle over a warm bowl of oats, stir into yoghurt, add into your tea, coffee or latte, mix into a smoothie, spread over toast or muffins or enjoy straight from the jar!
