Gluten-free, vegan-friendly, simple and delicious - this turmeric flatbread is sure to become your new favourite recipe, and goes perfectly with your favourite dips!
Turmeric is packed with various health benefits, such as boosting your body's natural stress tolerance, promoting healthy metabolism, healthy skin and is full of powerful antioxidants.
1 cup Spelt flour
1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4 Tbsp almond milk (or milk of choice)
3 Tbsp coconut oil (add more if needed)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1. Combine all the ingredients and knead well to form a dough, and then leave to rest for 30 minutes.
2. Divide your dough into 6-8 balls. Roll out each ball.
3. Cook the flatbreads in a small frying pan, lightly greased with coconut oil, for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes on each side until cooked and crispy.
4. Serve your flatbreads with your favourite dips (We love it with hummus, guacamole and pesto) and enjoy!
